Canada Cup - Final Results
B.G. tumblers dominated the final day of competition at the 2010 Canada Cup. This competition also served as the final selection event for the 2010 World Age Group Championships and 2010 World Championships which will be held in Metz, France in November.
Alicia Russell climbed from 5th to 3rd with two amazing passes. Her day 2 total was nearly 5 pts higher then any other competitor. Katelyn Verschoor earned a bronze medal in youth women and competed a new pass valued at 6.0! Catherine McNutt placed 5th in the highly competitive senior national category.
Sean Robertson and Jaclyn Sicard each won the Youth category. This is the first time either athlete wins a national competition.
Emily Smith returned to competition in fine form. She lead the senior women in every pass and sealed her gold medal with the only pass that scored 9.0 from all judges at this event. Welcome back!
Congratulations to all the athletes! You did a terrific job representing yourselves and your club. We are incredibly proud of your results and efforts.
