2009 World Games
Emily Smith competed today in the 2009 World Games which are the Olympics for non-Olympic sports.
The Kaoshiung arena was packed with well over 8000 spectators to watch what is the premier sport of these games.
Emily placed 4th in this mornings preliminary event with 2 solid passes. In the fresh start final, Emily nailed both passes including her full full straight for a total 63.8, 1.4 higher then in the previous round. The performance was rewarded by the judges with a Bronze medal, we are confirming whether or not this is a first for Canadian tumbling.
Congratulations Emily for once again showing that you are World Class!
