Hi everyone,
I just wanted to set the record straight with what to expect coming into the fall with the coaching staff. As most of you know already, we have a new coach starting with us next week. The reason for a new coach is to train a replacement for Chris, who plans on ending his coaching career following the World Championships in Russia in October 2009.
Chris already works a full time job in Toronto and keeping this taxing schedules is having it's setbacks for him. There just isn't enough hours in a day to do all that he wants! But because he feels so attached to this group of athletes he is choosing to stay on and make the transition as smooth as possible. What we will do is train the new coach over the next 15 months by slowly increasing her imput and slowly weeding Chris out. He currently coaches 5 days a week, after Christmas he will drop 1 day, after Nationals another and then come November he will be removed from the staff list and bumbed onto the sub-coaching list!
We feel that this is the best way to get the athlete's adjusted and ensure their competitive season doesn't suffer due to unexpected change.
The new coach is Holly Mousseau. She was the program director in Sault Ste. Marie but has decided to come join our team in order to grow her expertise and get a chance to work with more high level athletes. I am very excited about our new addition! She has alot of drive, passion, energy and her fair share of technical knowledge and I know she will only help us be more successful in the future!
Thank you for your support and understanding in this matter. It was not an easy decision for Chris to make. He has been coming to the B.G.'s for just shy of 15 years now! Still, this is what is best for both Chris and the program in the long run!
The Burlington B.G.'s trampoline and tumbling program is dedicated to helping each athlete reach their maximum performance level by teaching discipline, work ethic and focus through positive teaching methods. Regardless of competition level, we hope to instill a sense of accomplishment, success and confidence into every athlete our program touches!

Fall Registration
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to give you all a friendly reminder that all registration forms were due the 18th along with the $200 deposit. Please have them in by no later then Friday, August 22 so that the accounts manager can issue the invoices for fall training and I can finalises coaching hours with the staff. I can't guarantee my staff hours without registered athletes and therefor we run the risk of not running certain groups if we cannot get this information in on time.
Also, at the back of the information package I gave you, the one including competition dates, was the athlete/parent expectation sheet. Please hand that in by the end of the week as well. Athlete's who have not returned registration forms and expectation forms will be denied access to the gym starting September 1st, 2008.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Denis

Hi Guys,
Just a reminder that Trampoline begins tonight in the Olympics. It's the qualifying round for both men and women. I am unsure if CBC or NBC will be airing it live but I know that CBC is broadcasting it via broadband on their website www.cbc.ca/olympics
Just click the "live feed for trampoline" coverage starts at 10:49pm
Enjoy!
