Please find below all the information regarding the program testing/tryouts. If your child cannot attend their testing, you will need to ensure to schedule a testing day with their coach or they will lose their spot in the fall program. All athlete's are being tested regardless of start date, age or competitive category with no exceptions. The results will be a direct evaluation of their dedication, competition performance, technical profiency and skills repetoire.

Who:
All tumblers currently enrolled in the program
Why:
To determine groups/levels/hours for the next competitive season. The total score will rank the athlete's and slot them according to the amount of spots available in each group. If there are more athletes in a level then there are spots available, the lowest scoring athlete becomes the top ranked in the following group.
How:
Athletes will be tested based on the level they are trying to get into for the next competitive season. They will have to compete 3 passes and a skills checklist which will give them points for both completion and technical mastery. If an athlete's level has not been confirmed they will be tested for both level in question.
Scoring:
The scoring system is open ended. There is no such thing as perfect. It will help rank the athletes based on all aspects of the competitive season.
Attendance: atheletes will get 1 point for every % of attendance from throughout the season
Physical Testing: athletes total score will be added
Competition: points system was establiched and points were distributed based on results at all competitions this season, the more important the competition the more points were available
Pass evaluation: athletes will receive an execution score for the passes they complete, that score will give them points based on a point system, the total will be added to their score
Skills Checklist: skills will scored based on completion and quality
Guaranteed Spots:
5 athletes have been guaranteed spots in the fall season based on their performances over the last season
The Burlington B.G.'s trampoline and tumbling program is dedicated to helping each athlete reach their maximum performance level by teaching discipline, work ethic and focus through positive teaching methods. Regardless of competition level, we hope to instill a sense of accomplishment, success and confidence into every athlete our program touches!

General Information
Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that we are now off until August 3rd. All training will resume August 4th. Please inform me if your children are going to be away during the month of August, many of you have already and I thank you for it.
Also, I have a meeting this week for final aproval of the fall schedule and that is why it hasn't been sent out yet. It will be handed to you during you parent meeting which will be scheduled during our week return as I didn't want to meet until everyone had all the information available to them!

Going Away
Just a reminder to let your child's coach know if they are going to be away throughout the summer. We can better plan our practices if we know in advance who will or won't be attending.
