The gym is closed sunday through Tuesday for the Canada Day long weekend.
The summer schedule will commence on Wednesday, July 2nd!

Gymnastics Canada has posted the updated National Team ranking list for trampoline, Tumbling and DMT. Here is how we are doing!

Elite Women:

Retro-Summer - Results

The 3rd Annual Retro-Summer Tumbling Invitational was held today at the Scarborough Gym Elites gymnastics club. We had alot of great results and many athlete's compete new elements successfully! Great Job everyone!

Provincial D Women:
1st - Chloe Bottos
3rd - Maddy McGillivray
4th - Makaila Koshurba

Provincial C 12- Women:
4th - Brooke Bottos - competed back tuck and back layout for the first time!!
6th - Jennifer Harrison - competed back tuck and back layout for the first time!!
7th - Ryann Johnston - competed layout 1/2 for the first time!!

Provincial C 13+ Women:
3rd - Emily Brown - competed back tuck and layout for the first time!!

Provincial B Women:
1st - Naomi Suzuki - competed "whip" for the first time; special award for fastest tumbling!!

Provincial B Men:
1st - Michael Zeuner - competed "2 whips" for the first time!!

Novice 10-14 Women:
1st - Jasmine Ellis - competed an 8 pass to dbl back for the first time!!

On top of our athlete's achieving great success, I should mention that Emily and Nick won the "Best standing back tuck" competition for coaches!

National Championships - Day 4

Today was the 4th and final day of competition at the 2008 Canadian National Championships. The senior athletes put on a great show to help cap off what has already been a phenomenal week for our B.G.'s athletes.

Elite Women:
Gold - Emily Smith
4th - Teja Durante
6th- Jordan Sugrim

Elite Men:
Bronze - Markus Laczko

National Championships - Day 3

The youth national tumbling competition concluded today and our B.G. girls pulled off a podium sweep while Justin managed to place 3rd despite a fall on his first pass! To top that off Alison Zareski competed a new personal difficulty record and Justin Wong set a new Canadian Difficulty record!

Youth Women:
Gold - Meghan Hefford
Silver - Catherine McNutt
Bronze - Alison Zareski

Youth Men:
Bronze - Justin Wong

Meghan Hefford, Carolynne Wong, Teja Durante and Justin Wong will be representing Team Ontario in tonight's Provincial Team final.
