Emily Smith and Jordan Sugrim competed yesterday in the Tumbling preliminary competition. Emily nailed two brilliant passes to place 5th and qualify to her first World Final! Jordan had a small break on her first pass and nailed her twist pass for 14th place.
Together they competed today with teammate Ashley Speed in tonight's team final. All 3 girls hit a solid pass to earn the Team Bronze. The first team medal for Canada since 1996. Russia and the United States took home Gold and Silver respectively.
Today was Jordan's final competition of her career. She did a great job representing Canada, Ontario and B.G.'s on the World Stage!
